This hiking trip was somewhat disappointing.
It started off by registering for the back country camp sites at the park office. They require that a camper specify which back country primitive camp ground they will be at each night and that there was limited availability. I made reservations for three nights at three different campgrounds. Each back country primitive campground has three camp sites. Also three back country primitive campgrounds were closed because they may be wet even though it had not rained in several weeks.
I got reservations for what I could but it wasn't the ideal situation.
Another complicating factor was that there was only water at the Bee Island campground. This did not concern me at first because I thought I could find water and filter it, but later it would become a factor.
To be continued..................
